As a Systems Engineer you will ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of both on-premises and cloud environments while providing exceptional support to end-users and acting as a technical escalation point. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and proactive engagement in technical projects to enhance IT service delivery.
Requirements
What you'll do:
- Windows Server Administration: Manage and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure reliability and performance.
- Directory Services: Administer and support on-premises Active Directory and hybrid Entra ID (Azure AD) domains.
- Identity and Authentication: Oversee identity platforms, including Entra ID, AD FS, Duo, and passwordless/WebAuthN solutions.
- Security: Implement and maintain security hardening practices across Windows and M365 environments.
- Cloud Integration: Facilitate M365 tenant integrations, migrations, and management.
- Deployment: Deploy applications, services, and servers in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Endpoint Management: Manage and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 endpoints using tools like Intune, Autopilot, and SCCM/MECM.
- Networking: Configure and manage network systems, including routing, switching, and Wi-Fi.
- PKI and Certificates: Oversee PKI and certificate lifecycle management.
- System Design: Design and implement scalable, robust IT architectures.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across systems and platforms.
What you'll bring:
- Windows Server Administration.
- Directory Services (Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD).
- Identity platforms (AD FS, Duo, WebAuthN).
- Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure, VMware, M365).
- Endpoint management tools (Intune, Autopilot, SCCM/MECM).
- Networking (routing, switching, Wi-Fi).
- PKI and certificate management.
- Collaboration tools (SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams).
- Willingness for after-hours work and interstate travel.
- Commitment to a hybrid working arrangement with scheduled 2 days a week onsite presence.
