Automotive Electrician

Elite Truck Bodies is a family owned and operated business established in 2008 and conveniently located close to EastLink in Melbourne’s Southeast. The company is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experience Automotive Electrician to join their team in Carrum Downs VIC 3201.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Determine malfunction of electrical systems by visual inspection of vehicle/ equipment and coordinate with workshop and client appropriate actions or repairs
• Repair or replace defective wiring on all automotive electrical circuits such as lighting, ignition systems, safety systems, instruments and air conditioning
• Installation of automotive electrical accessories such as lighting, radio equipment, GPS systems and electric braking systems
• The capability to utilize electronic testing equipment, wiring diagrams and specification listings to diagnose and repair electrical faults
• Completion of paperwork including job cards and appropriate filing of invoices for purchased parts or equipment
• Complies with the highest level of safety at workshop and site to avoid any type of accidents

Skills & Abilities:

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
