As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Accountant (Finance Officer) to join our leadership team and drive the financial strategy and performance of the business.
Job Details:Position: Accountant (Finance Officer)
Job Type: Full-Time, 38 hours per week
Salary: $76,515 - $90,000 + superannuation
Location: 13/300 Ann Street, Brisbane City, QLD 4000
Key Responsibilities and Duties:- Assisting in the formulation and implementation of budgetary, accounting, and financial control policies for specific projects and organisational operations.
- Preparing detailed project and organisational financial statements and management reports for presentation to boards of directors, senior management, and statutory authorities.
- Monitoring and examining project operating costs, capital expenditure, and income to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to budget forecasts.
- Providing assurance on the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of project financial information with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Advising on project financing structures, cash flow management, and investment strategies to optimise resource allocation and minimise financial risk.
- Preparing and reviewing taxation and compliance documentation relevant to project and organisational activities.
- Liaising with financial institutions, auditors, and external stakeholders to arrange project financing, manage cash flow facilities, and monitor financial performance.
- Establishing and maintaining robust internal control systems to ensure accuracy, accountability, and transparency across all project financial activities.
- Appraising the financial viability, cash flow, and risk profile of capital investment projects and providing recommendations to management.
- Supporting project managers and leadership teams with ongoing financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to ensure project objectives are achieved within financial parameters.

- Relevant tertiary trade qualifications or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
