The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This full-time role involves preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to excellence.

• Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard under the direction of the Head Chef
• Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and service across lunch and dinner shifts
• Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation and storage areas, in compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor food stock levels, rotate supplies, and report ordering needs to the Head Chef
• Assist the Head Chef in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed
• Handle dietary requests and food allergies with care, ensuring safe food practices
• Support the Head Chef with implementing menu changes, specials, and seasonal offerings
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules and maintain a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery

• Proven experience (minimum 1 year) as a Chef in a similar setting
• Culinary qualification. e.g. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
• Strong understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
