The ideal candidate will formulate and implement the sales and marketing strategy for all dwell
student accommodation properties in Australia. Energetic, self-motivated, a natural leader yet
analytical with a keen sense of commercial awareness, the selected individual will have the

opportunity to be the key driving force in maximizing property revenue in this newly-created position.

Being a forward-thinking leader is key to this role, to prepare for the anticipated growth of the dwell
brand within the Australian market.

Willingness to travel is a must for this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the sales, marketing and residential life team
  • Be a brand ambassador for dwell in the market
  • Liaise and build relationships with targeted universities, colleges and potential customers
  • Understand market trends and competitors for benchmarking to identify potential business
opportunities
  • Create sales and pricing strategies to maximize property revenue
  • Set up and execute all aspects of the leasing process
  • Lead all marketing efforts including planning and managing multi-channel integrated
marketing communications campaigns & activities across online and offline, digital and onground media & platforms
  • Provide regular reporting on all Sales, Marketing and Residential Life activities
  • Set and manage all aspects of sales budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop, grow and manage all aspects of the dwell residential life program
Skills and qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the sales function of an established student
accommodation operator, or related experience in the hospitality industry
  • Relevant Bachelors’ degree in Sales, Marketing, Commerce or Business is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in digital media and marketing: able to brief and supervise internal and external
partners to develop & manage websites and digital marketing activity (including GA, SEO, SEM, display, content and social media)
  • Experience in global brands an advantage: understands need for global branding and knows
how to work within existing global brand management systems and processes, to achieve
greater consistency and efficiency• Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Has initiative, drive and is results-oriented
  • Travel is required
