Michael Page is a preferred supplier to the Queensland Government. We are currently seeking an experienced Advisor (Document Control) for a 6 month contract role within Transport and Main Roads (TMR), supporting a Major Project. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a transformative public project.
Job Description
As Advisor, you will be part of the Rail Infrastructure Delivery Office and work closely with the Program Management Office. You will be responsible for the delivery and oversight of document control services that ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely flow of information across the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the Project Document Control Management Plans
- Ensure consistent use of document control systems such as InEight (TeamBinder), MS Teams, SharePoint, and Content Manager
- Support internal and external stakeholders to use document management systems correctly and efficiently
- Provide document control training sessions and support across teams
- Manage workflows, track documents, and ensure compliance with project and state record-keeping policies
- Support audits, reporting, and the preparation of official correspondence and documentation
- Assist in records management, archiving, and information security
The Successful Applicant
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience using InEight Document (TeamBinder) ideally in a project environment
- Experience working within major infrastructure or public sector projects is an advantage
- Understanding of governance, compliance, and document control procedures
- Ability to support multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- 6-month contract with opportunity for extension
