Role Overview:We are looking for a talented and motivated Chef to work alongside our small kitchen team. If you have an interest in leadership this is the perfect role for you, we operate 7 days a week and are looking for chefs to help lead services.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook steaks and a variety of other high-quality dishes for a busy bar setting.Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure food meets our high standards for quality and presentation.
Manage kitchen operations, including prepping, cooking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety.
Assist in new dish development and to help keep the menu evolving and fresh.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during peak times.
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards in compliance with regulations.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain consistent quality.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef, cook, or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.Expertise in cooking steaks and understanding different cuts and cooking techniques.
Passion for food and a commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Ability to work well under pressure and stay organised during busy service hours.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.
