Hawkview Partners Pty Ltd seeks a full-time position of Finance Broker as part of its growth and expansion in its Melbourne office. This position will support the Director and Client Acquisition Manager.

Hawkview Partner’s primary business activities include a Finance Broking arm, offering commercial and mortgage loans as well as Corporate advisory services, such as business planning, acquisitions, sales, valuations and health checks.

• Collating initial financial information from new clients.
• Analysing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet historical financial information together with other key business loan documentation.
• Completing detailed trading performance review documents for clients that is required by banks, lenders and financiers.
• Developing three-way financial models (including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements) to support the clients financing requirements.
• Assist in business loan deal structuring process in conjunction with banks, lenders and financiers.
• Oversee due diligence process required by financier(s) and assist in negotiating key financing terms.
• Oversee the loan documentation and settlement processes required by banks, lenders and financiers.
• Conduct outreach of prospective client opportunities via telephone, email and text to qualify leads.
• Updating and maintaining the business’ Customer Relationship Management software system following outreach activities above.

• Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking or higher (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or in a relevant field.
• Financially literate in relation to financial statements.

• Mortgage Broking & Lending: 1-3 years in mortgage broking, residential, or commercial lending.
• Credit Analysis: Previous experience as a credit analyst, with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative credit risk assessment.
• Financial Modelling: Strong financial modelling skills to support complex loan evaluations.
• Customer Service & Sales: Background in customer relations or sales preferred.

• Financial Analysis: Advanced financial and credit risk analysis capabilities.
• Communication & Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written skills with a talent for building rapport and managing client relationships.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and organizational skills in reviewing financial documents.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in credit policies, compliance, and risk assessment.
• Customer Focus: Dedicated to providing an exceptional, client-centred experience.
• Time Management: Skilled at managing multiple loans and prioritizing tasks.

• Base Salary: Competitive base salary of $75,000 to $80,000 plus uncapped commission.
