Overlooking the boat harbour and next to the picturesque Richmond River, customers are in for a pleasant dinner with a great atmosphere and faultless service at La Cucina Di Vino, a favourite with the Ballina locals for its true, Southern Italian style cuisine.The authentic Italian menu suits everyone, our pizzas, pastas, seafood dishes including our poached mussels, and the ever-popular veal and chicken parmas are great for families and groups. We also cater for weddings, birthday parties, cooperate functions and can provide set menus on request.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Chef or Cook
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:- Designing menus, calculating food, and procuring food supplies
- Supervising dish quality throughout preparation and presentation
- Consulting with kitchen staff and servers about food preparation matters
- Demonstrating methods and providing guidance on cooking techniques
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Educating on and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
- A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery and Hospitality Management
- At least 2 years of kitchen experience
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding customer relations
Salary Expectation: $70,000 to $80,000
Full-time and permanent position.
