At The Trustee for DISHNICA FAMILY TRUST, we are looking for a full-time (38-40 hours per week) Chef position to join our team.

• Create and plan menus;
• Create and plan specials on regular basis;
• Estimate food and labour costs and ordering food supplies;
• Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation;
• Assume responsibility for the quality of products served, monitoring the taste, visual appeal, financial cost;
• Show cooking procedures and make sure they are followed;
• Discuss and solve food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff;
• Hire, train, manage kitchen staff;
• Organize and manage the kitchen staff roster;
• Make sure that health and safety standards are maintained in work areas;
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in boilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment;

• The right candidate will have at least 3 years of experience
• A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
