Position: Motor Mechanic

• Thoroughly assess and identify faults in engines and other critical components to ensure precise repairs.
• Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, examining each part for signs of wear and defects.
• Replace worn or defective parts and meticulously reassemble mechanical components, using service manuals as reference.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Reassemble engines and mechanically test repaired parts to ensure optimal performance, employing advanced diagnostic tools.
• Inspect vehicles to potentially issue roadworthiness certificates or specify necessary repairs for compliance.
• Oversee and manage inventory of parts and supplies needed for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation of all repairs and servicing for customer records and warranty purposes.
• Educate customers on the maintenance needs and performance issues of their vehicles to foster proactive care and maintenance.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 plus superannuation per annum.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• AQF Certificate III or IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a related field.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
