Position Overview

• Management of weekly and monthly Payroll;
• Prepare supporting documentation to external Tax advisors to assist in preparation of the Income Tax and Fringe Benefit Tax Returns;
• Preparation and submission of monthly BAS;
• Maintain the Maben financial control matrix;
• Maintain the fixed asset register and conduct annual asset verification reviews;
• Liaising with external advisors and consultants, including accounting, finance, legal, and IT
• Daily cash flow reporting and management;
• Assist in the preparation of the Annual Financial Reports;
• Support the Financial Controller to answer Financial Audit queries;
• Provide financial input into tender submissions;

• Degree qualified, preferably Bachelor of Business/Commerce/Accounting.
• Ability to accurately complete the day to day data entry and processing functions, as required;
• Knowledge of Accounting Standards, including accounting for work in progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to perform in a dynamic, busy environment and to actively participate in a systems-driven environment;
• Proven experience using ERP accounting and operational software packages; Jobpac, Payapps and Lentune
• General knowledge of employee taxes and WorkCover, superannuation, industry-based awards and employment-related legal matters;
• Proven experience and knowledge in the building and construction industry
• Ability to deliver within agreed timeframes;
