The Company
Our Client, based in Richmond, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to work in an organisation that excels with its service delivery and prides itself on being an employer of choice.
The payroll team is very busy and requires the immediate assistance of an experienced and confident Payroll Officer.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior Payroll Officer process your duties will include:
- Timely and accurate payroll processing
- Understanding & interpretation of EBAs and awards
- Payroll reconciliation
- Employee database maintenance including the adding of new employees
- Payroll compliance, superannuation, payroll tax, workers' compensation, PAYG
- Payroll query resolution
The position is moving quickly, making it the perfect fit for candidates immediately available for work.
Your Profile

- Ability to take ownership of a role
- A high degree of accuracy & ability to work to deadlines
- Experience and working knowledge with payroll systems
- Ability to quickly pick up systems & processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of awards & EBAs
- A solid understanding and experience with time & attendance systems
This role will allow the opportunity to work from home as well as in the office.
