About the OpportunityJoin our dynamic team at Bankstown Hospital as a Research Coordinator in the Department of Cardiology. This part-time role (0.5 FTE) offers a unique opportunity to facilitate groundbreaking research over a 2-year period. What You'll be DoingThe Clinical Trials Coordinator - Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse or Clinical Trials Coordinator in an environment appropriate to the relevant specialty

Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Demonstrated knowledge and/understanding of the principles and practices of clinical trials and research participation

Demonstrated and well developed organizational and problem solving skills and demonstrated will developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft (MS) Outlook, Word and Excel with willingness to learn and use electronic medical information, reporting and data capture systems.

Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
