About The Role

• Work alongside the Chef in the daily running of the kitchen.
• Be responsible preparing and cooking food to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and food service.
• Be able to take direction and implement new ideas from management
• Be able to do menu planning, menu creation and create specials with a cost effective approach
• Be able to perform cost analysis to reduce cost in the kitchen
• Be able to liaisons with other chefs to create rosters for the week. Rostering experience is prefered.
• Being able to train staff to perform daily tasks with food quality and safety being a priority
