.Net Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced.NET Application Developer to join their team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer with a strong background in .NET technologies, Windows Server administration, and frontend development. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain .NET/.NET Core applications in line with specified requirements, with a strong focus on secure coding practices.
• Work collaboratively and flexibly within a team environment.
• Independently manage assigned tasks and provide associated documentation.
• Set and achieve goals, prioritizing activities to deliver outcomes effectively.
• Estimate and communicate achievable timeframes and associated risks.
• Administer Windows Server systems, including web/database server setup and maintenance (IIS and SQL Server).
• Work with frontend technologies such as jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Develop and maintain Umbraco CMS, including secure coding practices, major version upgrades, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, and working with custom packages.

Selection Criteria:

Essential:

• 8+ years of web application development experience in .NET.
• Development experience with Umbraco CMS in areas such as security, upgrades, authentication, and custom package development.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and effective solution implementation.
• Proven ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently on assigned tasks.
• Experience with estimating, setting goals, and prioritizing activities to achieve project outcomes.
• Strong Windows Server system administration knowledge, particularly in web/database server setup and maintenance (IIS and SQL Server).
• Experience working with frontend technologies such as jQuery, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, including ASD's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), ISM, ISO, NIST, and Essential Eight.
• Knowledge of information privacy principles.
• Experience with technical solution design.
