About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full time Occupational Therapist who is adept at managing a varied clinical caseload to join our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities to achieve independence in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and Evaluate: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ functional abilities, cognitive status and environmental factors affecting daily living.
- Treatment Planning: Develop evidenced based individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions to promote independence in activities of daily living.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients, families and interdisciplinary teams to establish achievable goals and monitor progress towards desired outcomes.
- Client Support: Educate clients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, energy conservation techniques and fall prevention measures, prescription of equipment and assistive technologies.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions and progress notes in compliance with Elyte’s standards and regulatory requirements.
- Qualifications: Approved tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Experience: This is a great opportunity for both experienced and new-graduate professionals. Experience and/or a genuine passion for working with individuals with a disability
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills, a positive and client-centred professional with the ability to engage with clients living with varying disabilities.
- Certifications: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Salary offered is $73,000 to $99,999k
