Executive Team Assistant - 6 Months Fixed Term Contract [PART TIME], Amazon Stores
The Australian Retail team is seeking an exceptionally proactive, highly organized, and team-oriented Executive Team Assistant to orchestrate the key events and mechanisms that drive our AU Stores Organisation forward. Based in Sydney, this role reports directly to the Country Manager for Amazon Australia.
This is a unique opportunity that offers something rare: deep visibility into how a major retail organization operates at the highest levels, without the traditional constraints of supporting a single executive's calendar. Instead, you'll be the central orchestrator of our organizational rhythm—managing the master event calendar, executing high-impact events, and ensuring our leadership team stays aligned and moving forward.

Key job responsibilities- Creating and maintaining the master event calendar for the AU Stores Organisation, planning 12 months in advance and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned
- Managing and executing high-impact events including leadership offsites, key stakeholder visits, Amazon Live sessions, and Lunch & Learn programs from conception to completion
- Owning key organizational documents to ensure they remain current, accurate, and accessible to leadership and teams
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to gather event requirements, coordinate logistics, and ensure seamless execution
- Working closely with Executive Assistants across the organization, serving as the connective tissue that keeps our key events running smoothly
- Proactively identifying conflicts and opportunities in the organizational calendar, anticipating needs, and solving problems before they arise
A day in the life
As the Executive Team Assistant, you'll be the central orchestrator of our organizational calendar and key business events. You'll work 12 months ahead, ensuring every critical meeting, offsite, and mechanism is planned, documented, and executed flawlessly.This isn't about managing an executive's calendar—it's about managing the organizational rhythm that keeps our entire AU Stores team aligned and moving forward.
This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical workstreams simultaneously. A good sense of humor is critical, as is the ability to be flexible, work autonomously, and change direction at a moment's notice when priorities shift.
