Cater Care Australia is seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team at Ernest Henry (1451) in Townsville. As part of the CCS Operations department, this permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for Brisbane or Townsville locals to contribute to our dynamic team.

Assist tradespeople with various tasks as required
Maintain and organise tools, equipment, and materials
Undertake general maintenance duties across the site in gardening/grounds maintenance or construction work
Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Skills and Experiences:

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

Qld Manual Drivers License (Essential)
Previous 1 - 2 consecutive years previous T/A experience in Gardening/Grounds Maintenance and Construction work (Essential)
1-2 yrs Experience in assisting tradespeople or working in a trade environment
National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
Able to carry out manual work in the heat (Essential)
Forklift / EWP / Working at Heights Ticket/s (Desirable)
Weed spraying exp or qualification (Desirable)
Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
Capability to function effectively both independently and collaboratively with team members
A dedication to providing authentic and friendly customer service
A driven, enthusiastic, and positive attitude with a 'can-do' spirit
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, occasionally for extended durations
A strong sense of personal appearance and hygiene
A top-notch safety-oriented mindset
