Diesel Mechanics - Melbourne

Pelz Haulage are currently recruiting for two experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanics to commence at their workshop in Newmerella VIC.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on trucks, buses and other heavy Vehicles
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles
• Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on Trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles
• Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Trucks, buses and other heavy vehicles

• Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
• A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary range is $70,000 -$85,000pa commensurate with experience
