About the Position
Job Title: Sheetmetal WorkerJob Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Location: Wangara, WA 6065
Salary: $79,404 + Superannuation
Position Overview
The position provides critical assistance to the Director across various sites around Perth and its surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
The main duties of the Sheetmetal Worker include:- Install HVAC ductwork: This includes both rigid and flexible duct systems, ensuring proper connection and sealing techniques.
- Interpret and implement technical documentation: Analyze HVAC installation plans, construction drawings, and project specifications in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.
- Fabrication: Accurately measure, cut, shape, and form sheet metal components using hand tools and machinery to meet design requirements.
- Site adaptation: Perform on-site modifications and take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and installation of ductwork.
- Workplace maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area to ensure efficient operations and comply with safety regulations.
- Certificate 3 Light Fabrication (Sheet Metal Worker) (Preferred but not essential)
- 1 year post trade experience or 3 years on the job experience
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Drivers Licence and a reliable car or the ability to get to and from site independently
- Recent Commercial HVAC Duct installation experience
- Own Hand/Battery Tools
- Working at Heights & EWP Tickets (Preferred but not essential)
