Robert Walters - NDIS Plan Management Officer

The purpose of this role is to provide accounting and administrative support to the Finance department as well as undertake special projects as required. You will be responsible for the production of highly accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reports.

These reports assist management with decision making to ensure financial sustainability of the organisation.

NDIS Plan Management:

  • Perform all the accounting functions in the Finance areas of NDIS Plan Management, duties including but not limited to data entry in Careview, making NDIS online portal claims, creating clients ‘service bookings, maintain participants’ list, lodge NDIS payment enquiry, reconcile Plan Management clearing account and etc.
  • Ensure all NDIS Plan management’s claims and payments are made, consistent with the
  • Plan Management service agreement.
  • Make contacts with suppliers, NDIA and clients when required.
  • Issue NDIS Plan Management statements on a monthly basis.

Accounting and Administration:

  • Assist accounts payable (AP) functions when required.
  • Assist accounts receivable (AR) function when required.
  • Assist accountants with monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations when
  • required.
  • Provide administrative support across the finance department.
  • Undertake general administration duties as required for projects.
  • Respond in an efficient and courteous manner to all queries from both internal and external
  • customers.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Business or Accounting.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Previous experience with NDIS Plan Management and related financial processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities.
