Toorak Cellars is on the search to fill an exciting role for a cook with a love of wine. Barista skills a bonus. Casual or Full time available for the right candidate.

About us

Toorak Cellars is equal parts bottle shop and wine bar. We serve a constantly changing twenty wines by-the-glass, or customers can open any bottle straight off the shelf.

We believe strongly in the idea that wine should taste like fruit and minerals instead of oak and alcohol. The wines we serve reflect with great clarity, the soil from which they were grown, the the four seasons that passed through that vineyard during a specific vintage.

Part of the Diggin’ In The Cellars group, we value good wine, good food and good people. We believe knowledge is best shared and foster a culture where a desire to learn from our peers, our producers and beyond is inherent throughout.

About the role

As the cook at Toorak Cellars you are responsible to deliver exceptional service which is efficient, hospitable and true to our ethos, contributing to the creation of a community of patrons through confident service and genuine knowledge of our food and wine.

You will be support and contribute to the planning and execution of an exciting and delicious menu that is heavily focussed on snacks and plates that compliment bustling mornings on the go, afternoons in the sun or nights by the fire with a bottle of wine and great company.

You will proactively contribute to the smooth running of the venue through the completion of pre service and end of service tasks, stock control, and the maintenance of a welcoming and well presented venue and menu.
