JNJ Tech Pty Ltd, a dynamic and growing company in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Cable Jointer to enhance our network capabilities. Located in the thriving industrial area of Malaga, WA, JNJ Tech is committed to providing top-tier telecommunications solutions, specializing in complex cabling systems and infrastructure for a variety of communication needs.

Role Overview: This is a crucial role in which you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications cabling systems. You will work with a range of technologies, including telephone and computer data transmission.

Location: Malaga, WA

• Install and configure cabling systems for telephone and internet to ensure optimal transmission and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform precision joining of cables and expert sealing of sheaths using advanced techniques such as lead and thermoplastic sealing to protect against environmental damage.
• Erect and maintain infrastructure, including aerial and underground wires and cables, as well as antennae for radio and mobile phone communications, ensuring long-term reliability and functionality.
• Conduct rigorous testing and ongoing maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure to diagnose and rectify faults, ensuring minimal service interruption.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements in telecommunications cabling and implement best practices in field operations.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position requiring 38 hours per week.

Salary: The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Applicants must possess an AQF Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is essential.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player who can also work independently when required.
