About the Role:Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic welder to join our ever-growing manufacturing team at Wetherill Park. Majority of work involves fabrication of custom designed aluminium and stainless-steel product, and structures used in height safety access systems.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabricate structures to comply with standards.
- Set up components and weld according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools and general workshop machinery like bandsaw, bench drill, linisher, and angle grinder safely.
- Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
About You:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in MIG/TIG welding.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a trade qualified Welder Fabricator.
- Able to weld aluminium and stainless-steel parts.
- High quality of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company standards WHS / EMS and regulatory requirements.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Willing to work to RIS business needs such as tight deadlines and supporting overtime when offered.
- Valid Australian Drivers licence.
