Full time Chef

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of culinary techniques, excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

1. Food Preparation and Cooking:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective food production.
• Manage portion control and minimise waste to optimize cost-efficiency.

1. Quality Control:

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Monitor and control food safety practices, including temperature checks and cleanliness.

1. Staff Management:

• Lead, supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing training and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Schedule and coordinate kitchen staff to meet operational needs.

1. Inventory Management:

• Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and sourcing of ingredients.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food products to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

1. Customer Service:

• Address any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service.
• Ensure a positive dining experience by delivering high-quality food and service.

• Must have trade qualifications in commercial cookery or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience as a chef
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety and kitchen management.
• Able to work effectivelyly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively.
