We are working with a highly respected not-for-profit organisation based in Toorak. Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide vital assistance during an exciting payroll system implementation.

The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end payroll processing for over 3000 employees using Chris21
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements
- Managing payroll queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Supporting the payroll team during the implementation of a new payroll system
- Assisting with reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives
About You
You will bring:
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a large, complex organisation
- Good knowledge of Chris21
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
