Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive approach to field and laboratory testing, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct fieldwork and laboratory tests on construction materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards, including AS1012 and Vic Roads test methods.
- Analyze and interpret data from tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Estimate material costs and monitor the alignment of construction works with contractual obligations.
- Engage in extensive travel to various job sites for sample collection, testing, and analysis of fresh concrete.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all test results and customer information.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and service delivery.
- Manage and maintain testing equipment and vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize testing routes and schedules for efficiency.
- Handle, measure, and process test cylinders with high precision, documenting all relevant data meticulously.
- Transport samples between our laboratory and partner facilities as required.
- Enter and manage data within our Laboratory Information Management System to maintain traceability and integrity of test results.
- Support additional tasks in the laboratory, contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum, commensurate with experience.
Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
