Job Overview: Hul International is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director to lead the

establishment and operational growth of our new business division in Australia. This executive role will involve shaping our
Australian strategy, building key relationships, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the business becomes a key player in the
retail homeware market. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing cross-functional teams, driving business

performance, and successfully launching new ventures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for Hul International’s expansion into the Australian market,
aligning with the company’s global goals and objectives.
  • Lead the setup of business operations, including sales, marketing, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, suppliers, and stakeholders across the region.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of key talent within the Australian business unit.
  • Drive the financial performance of the Australian business, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and operational
efficiency.
  • Lead market analysis to identify emerging trends and adapt product offerings to meet local demand.
  • Work closely with global leadership teams to ensure alignment with company standards, values, and international goals.
  • Cultivate a positive corporate culture that prioritises innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.
  • Manage risk by ensuring compliance with all local laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a CEO, Managing Director, or in a senior executive role within a fast-paced, multi-national
organisation, preferably in the retail or homeware industry and in a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of business functions, including sales, marketing, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • A demonstrated ability to successfully launch and grow a new business in a competitive market.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
  • Outstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Australian retail and business landscapes is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
