About Our Client
Our client is an Australian privately owned business with 30 years deep expertise in building services and over 200 staff across 5 business units. They are seeing YoY revenue growth of over 10% and due to both business growth and succession planning, they are looking to hire into their senior leadership team.
Job Description
Reporting to the director, your role will involve running the day to day operations of two of their 5 business units. This includes:
- Driving resource management and productivity
- Ensuring efficient use of labour
- Tender work including site visits and meeting clients
- People management of 12 direct reports - (sales and service)
- Full P&L management
- Providing technical support as required
- Working cross functionally with other stakeholders across the business
This role will be based across both Mascot and River stone offices with flex ability to work across other in addition to client sites.
The Successful Applicant
Our ideal candidate ideal has a trades background (Background maintenance, building services, construction) before moving into a leadership or corporate role. You will also have:
- Strong people management skills
- Trouble shooting/technical skills
- Ability to communicate both up and down effectively
- Able to work in an agile and fast paced environment
- Commercial acumen - experience with P&L mgt, driving productivity
- Train ability
