We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, FP&A with a strong background in financial planning and analysis to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. About the Role

Based in North Sydney and reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role leads a high-performing team responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, and costing. You will provide critical financial insights, manage key reporting processes, and drive business performance to support strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial and management accounts for the Australian market.
  • Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis, supporting business decision-making.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting.
  • Manage capital expenditure reporting, risk management, and variance analysis.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a team of three direct reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of management accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and expertise in financial modelling.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to drive business improvements and implement change.
  • CPA/CA qualification with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; BI/SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • A strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities.
