• Manage retail operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Lead and supervise staff: Manage a team of retail employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maintain high productivity and deliver excellent customer service.
• Recruitment and training: Hire and train new employees, ensuring they are equipped to meet store goals and provide exceptional customer service.
• Inventory and stock control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure efficient handling of goods to maintain availability and minimize wastage.
• Customer service excellence: Lead by example to ensure the highest standard of customer service, promptly addressing and resolving any customer complaints or concerns.
• Sales and performance tracking: Monitor sales performance, set targets, and implement actions to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
• Uphold store standards: Ensure store programs, safety protocols, cleanliness, and quality standards are consistently met to maintain a positive store image.
• Liaise with head office: Maintain communication with the head office on operational issues, inventory updates, and promotional activities.
• Pricing and Marketing: Oversee the implementation of pricing strategies and support the execution of advertising campaigns to align with sales objectives.
• Customer Engagement: Manage loyalty program initiatives, review customer feedback to enhance service quality, and cultivate long-term customer relationships as part of the overall business strategy.
• Financial management: Oversee the management of budgeting, expenses, and cash flow to ensure the store's profitability.
• Compliance and legal obligations: Ensure compliance with workplace safety laws, consumer rights regulations, and store policies.

• Completed Diploma or bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar managerial role within a retail environment, with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in motivating and managing a team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and sales analysis to meet operational goals.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A commitment to maintaining store standards and driving team success.
