Whittens have multiple opportunities and are offering 482 sponsorship for experienced WA based Carpenters/Formworkers, tasks include; • Attend regular toolbox meetings and pre-start meetings- Fill out any paperwork necessary ensuring hours of work are documented each day
- Comply to drawing specifications and building plans
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with quality control requirements within ITP
- Return tools and ensure objects have been properly stored and cleaned
- Identify required materials and tooling for the construction of formwork
- Load and transport materials, tools and consumables from laydown areas to work fronts as required
- Construct, install and dismantle formwork in line with drawings and specifications
- Ensure materials and equipment that is delivered to site is adequately identified, safely handled and stored to prevent loss, damage or injury
- Monitor materials and consumables and notify supervisor of items requiring ordering
- Use of monitoring and testing equipment, as required, for verification to specifications and drawings
- Manage work outputs to achieve targets as per site requirements
- Assist with general labouring and other tasks as required by the Site Supervisor/Leading Hand where required
- Minimum 2 year's construction experience
- Trade qualified (AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Previous FIFO experience
- Construction Card
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screening
- Hold valid rights to work in Australia
- Must be WA based
