Assistant Relationship Manager - Commercial/Business Lending

Looking for a strong candidate that is looking to extend their commercial lending experience.

A major bank is currently recruiting an Assistant Relationship Manager to join their Sydney team. The role will work closely with a Senior Relationship Manager to manage and develop a commercial diversified portfolio. The role requires someone with experience preparing commercial credit papers.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the specific needs and aims of the banks clients and use your relationships to help them realise new opportunities
• Prepare credit papers for submission
• Support the Relationship Managers to continue to develop and grow a client base across the commercial diversified space.
• Improve customer satisfaction of the client managed accounts
• Work with dedicated specialists to drive increase in cross holdings
• Own and drive the proactive risk management responsibilities of the portfolio

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience in business or commercial banking role or alternatively, experience in relevant field such as accounting, audit or assurance.
• Proven ability to build, develop and maintain client relationships
• Strong understanding of credit and commercial lending
• Excellent communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in a related field (finance, accounting, commerce, banking or similar)
