Civil Engineering Technician

The Civil Engineering Technician has responsibility for the effective planning, co-ordination and control of the various maintenance activities carried out by Civilcraft.

Responsibilities:

Daily tasks include:

1. Visiting sites, warehouses and other venues to gather essential information
2. Ensuring that works in progress are in compliance with specified, planned and statutory requirements, and that a safe work environment is maintained on site.
3. Responding to reactive maintenance works as required and completing within nominated timeframes.
4. Executing and completing work order requests to client’s systems and requirements.
5. Providing Estimates and Quotes of small projects as requested.
6. Establishing and maintaining the various Safety and Environmental documentation, control measures and signage required for the works.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
2. 1 year of work experience in an engineering field
3. Possess a solid understanding of construction standards and practices.
4. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Annual salary: $85,000-$90,000 + superannuation (38 proposed hours of work per week)
