Supply Chain Analyst
The Client:
Southland Supply Group is a leading Industry Supplier of Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, Workwear, Clothing and Footwear, Construction Site Equipment in Australia.
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join their Operations team based in EPPING, VIC.
The Role:
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management of inventory, personnel, and logistics. This role focuses on accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and meeting customer service standards.
It is for a full-time role with an annual salary of $85,000 to $95,000 + Superannuation and will be based in in EPPING, VIC.
The Responsibilities:
Oversee and work alongside dispatch team daily ensuring efficient shipment and management of urgent orders, reporting any stock errors or delays to appropriate department.
Oversee and work alongside inbound goods team, reporting any errors or stock issues to the appropriate supplier.
Oversee clothing/embroidery team, reporting any errors or delays with the appropriate department.
Coordinate roster to ensure all aspects of warehouse are staffed daily.
Coordination with logistics for most efficient execution of services.
Coordinate weekly toolbox meetings.
Participate in monthly Operations and Branch meetings.
Provide regular reporting to NOM (National Operations Manager) on KPI targets and staffing issues.
Work in coordination with SCM (Supply Chain Management) on inventory levels and issues.
Ensure a safe work environment and well-maintained equipment
Analyse product delivery or supply chain processes to identify or recommend changes.
Manage route activity including invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracing
Management of stock levels and warehouse optimization for operational efficiency.
Identify inefficiencies in warehouse and supply chain operations and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Oversee and manage customer returns, defective stock handling, and reverse logistics to minimize losses.
Assist with WMS (Warehouse Management System) optimization, barcode implementation, and digital transformation projects.
Monitor warehouse and logistics expenses, finding cost-saving opportunities without compromising service levels.
Pick, check and shipment of orders to meet company & branch requirements. Including order tracing and logistics management.
Invoice discrepancy investigation
The Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
At least 3 years proven experience in logistics analysis or supply chain management
At least 3 years supply chain analysis experience in a supply and distribution business
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in logistics software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated strengths in data interpretation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Driver license
