Sous Chef Full Time - Perth
Samson Lake Pty Ltd trading as Bindoon Hotel, is located in the picturesque Chittering Valley only 45 mins north of Perth.
We are a family run country pub and are currently seeking a Full Time Sous Chef. Excellent location, recently refurbished kitchen, accommodation available to the suitable applicants. Great team environment.
**NOTE: We are only accepting applications from persons currently in Australia with a Valid Work Visa. Long term employment - min 12 months.
Sous Chef Min. Cert 3 Commercial Cookery or 3 years experience in a similar role, have Food Safety Hygeine certificates. Must be quick learner and fast on your feet. Attention to detail, team player, reliability and committment are essential.
Duties include but not limited to:
Responsible to Head Chef/OwnerAssist leading the kitchen
Kitchen set up, all prep, cold larder, sauces, meats, marinades, vegies
Cooking to menu recipe requirements, to order (a la carte)
Fryer, ovens, grill and pans
Stock maintenance and rotation
Staff training and supervision
Adhere to all Food and Work Safety policies
General cleanup
Immediate start. Willing to do a trial. Accommodation available. Must have own transport (no public transport avail) and be flexible with work hours.
