Motor Mechanic

Salary: $73,000-$75,000 + Superannuation

Our Client "Seamus Hill Automotive" is seeking a highly motivated & enthusiastic Motor Mechanic to join their team.

• Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other

• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine

• Discuss problems with car drivers or vehicle operators to discover faults
• Listen to engines, fit and operate special test equipment, and test-drive vehicles
• Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
• Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
• Carry out minor body and trim repairs
• Diagnose, repair and replace engine management and fuel injection components
• Use oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welders
• Inspecting vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates of detail work required to achieve

• Have completed a Certificate IV or Diploma in Automotive Technology
• Some motor mechanic experience either as part of traineeship or post-qualification (post-qualification experience will be highly regarded).
• Be Eager to learn and develop your skills as a motor mechanic.
