Sales Support Specialist / Sales Associate
The Sales Support / Sales Associate is a key role to ensure the success of our New Business Team. The role focusses on ensuring everything the Business Development Managers needs to achieve their monthly targets and annual goals, from reporting to presentations to insights and customer follow-ups.

Responsibilities
Business Development Manager Support
Work side by side with the new business team, daily interactions and meetings to work closely as a teamHelping prepare pitch or presentations for customer meetings
Building reports for customer meetings
Work closely with the team to identify gaps and opportunities in target
Researching customer insights to help win business
Customer Interactions
Interact with customers as required to support the BDM, follow up proposals, setting meeting times, general support to help win the businessManage in-bound smaller orders (generated via phone/webchat/email), interacting with a customer with a potential order to identify if there is more growth/revenue opportunity
Team & Broader business
Work closely with marketing on any collateral support and requirements to help win new businessDrive a strong culture of positivity and optimism that is reflected in all customer interactions
Work closely with sales leadership to ensure teams are working closely together, harmonious and making customer-centric decisions at all times
The digital stuff, being tech-savvy comes naturally to you. We use a variety of systems, such as HubSpot and Slack
Process management and improvement
Identifying improvements in daily processes relating to business developmentRaise key documents from estimate to sales order through to decoration and invoicing in NetSuite and HubSpot
Maintain customer data accuracy in HubSpot and NetSuite
Your Experience
Experience in sales, retail or customer serviceRuns on the board: demonstrate success with customer interactions
Strong initiative and sense of curiosityCommercial acumen – you have a passion for numbers and revenue
Ability to work with data and reporting tools
Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) with demonstrated ability to deliver a service that promotes customer loyalty and advocacy
Ownership: taking accountability for the customer experience and displaying a continuous improvement mindset
A high level of problem resolution skills to resolve customer enquiries in a timely manner through strong analysis and decision making
Someone who is tech savvy, comfortable using NetSuite and HubSpotA team player: the ability to support others while having a bit of fun!
