McGuires Hotels are the largest family owned chain of hotels in Queensland. The McGuires have been in the industry for four generations, with venues all over Brisbane and The Gold Coast.

The Venues; The Alexandra Hills Hotel, The Calamvale Hotel, The Colmslie Hotel, Logan Village Hotel, The Junction at Annerley, Corinda Tavern, The Paddington Tavern, Queenslander Marsden Tavern , RQ'S Tavern Robina and Tugun Tavern.

McGuires Group is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chefs to join their teams.

• Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
• Creativity and high presentation standards
• Ability to create dishes with consistency
• Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
• Ability to contribute to menu planning
• Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
• Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
• Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
• Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
• Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
• Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
• Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
