Newcastle - Mechanical Engineering Technician

Northern Meat Co-op are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Casino NSW 2470.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Help develop and implement the meat plant preventative maintenance program.
• Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
• Maintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on machinery.
• Perform Preventative maintenance.
• Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as machinery, equipment and measuring instruments.
• Work with timeframes and servicing schedules and maintain records.
• installing equipment and testing operations

Skills and Abilities:

• Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• A minimum of three years’ experience
• The ability to work in a team environment.

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.
