An exciting opportunity within a fund manager.
The Role
This newly created Investment Operations Analyst will work alongside the Investment Operations team.
This is a critical role where the ideal candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and bring leadership, ownership, and responsibility to the team. Working alongside a group of high-caliber portfolio managers and research analysts, this person will take on daily operational tasks while also driving improvements in the firm's processes.
This role offers the potential to grow into a leadership position within the firm as the company expands, though no immediate guarantees are made. The successful candidate will need to impress from the outset and show initiative to make a real difference in our operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day operations including:
- Trade management
- Performance calculation and attribution
- Corporate actions
- Reconciliations
- Managing client cash flows
Additional responsibilities:
- Use analytical thinking to assess and improve investment operations, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiencies.
- Lead and execute projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage timelines, set goals, and achieve outcomes that improve the business infrastructure.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and external parties to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Broad role with an investment operations focus but supporting multiple divisions across the business
- High performing staff, small and tight-knit office
- Newly created role due to growth with a potential pathway to Head of Operations role
Your Profile
The successful candidate will fit the below criteria- Investment operations experience from funds management
- Ability to work in a small firm with a diverse set of responsibilities
- Professional with excellent communication skills
- Hold a Permanent Residency
- Happy to go into the office 4 days a week
