Position Title: Project CoordinatorAnnual Salary: From 90,000 to 110,000 plus 11,5 % Superannuation
RTC Civil Pty is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Zetland, 2017 NSW.
RTC Civil Pty is a small company that has been operating for 9 years offering shoring walls reinforcement (steel fixing structures) and remedial services. RTC Civil has vast expertise in delivering temporary and flexible labour solutions to the construction industry.RTC Civil collaborates with cross-functional teams and contractors across all locations, with a focus on workplace health and safety and on-time project completion.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following responsibilities and duties:
- Preparing project outlines and submissions to senior management outlining resource allocation, including project timeframes, defining tasks, employee allocation, and planned project activities to deliver the works within budget, time, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Effectively facilitating communication among clients, stakeholders, and project team members to gather data and requirements while managing expectations for the successful, timely completion of each project.
- Proactively collecting data and tracking the progress of each project's timeline, identify potential risks and variations, project expenses and cost excess, monitoring staff and labour resourcing and periodically report progress to senior management to prevent potential delays and to ensure financial accountability.
- Consistently reviewing project progress against plans, contractual arrangements, and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
- Applying flexibility and foresight to mitigate issues while adapting to changing circumstances, resolving on-site issues, identifying potential service outages, finding rapid remedies, and proactively addressing issues and responding to inquires while maintaining project timelines, resource allocation and budget.
- Regularly visiting construction site to supervising work by contractors, ensuring contractors are compliant with all safety regulations, and recording site conditions and work quality.
- Liaising with civil engineers, suppliers, contractors and owners to ensure accurate forecasting of costs, compliance with contractual terms and that all objectives are met.
- Assign work team’s allocation to keep the workflows on track.
- Monitoring inventory of supplies for all projects.
Qualifications and experience
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications and work experience:
- An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Project Management (AQF or equivalent overseas qualification) with at least 1 year of full-time experience working in a Project Coordinator role. This formal qualification can be substituted by at least 3 years of work experience in a Project Coordinator role.
