About the Role

The National Head of Regional and Agribusiness will be responsible for leading our regional and agribusiness banking teams and will help shape and deliver on our strategic initiatives whilst continuing to drive growth across our sectors.
The National Head of Regional and Agribusiness will play a central role in our leadership team, building operational excellence and guiding our business through this transformation. This high-impact role offers a unique opportunity to shape strategy, build strong regional relationships, and lead a dynamic team through a time of significant change.Reporting directly into the State Commercial Manager for QLD, you will be responsible for leading a team of regionally based and agribusiness bankers across varying locations. The successful candidate’s expertise in leading regional and agribusiness teams, combined with a passion and enthusiasm for growing a rapidly expanding business through a stage of transformation, will be critical in optimising our operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring we meet our short- and long-term goals.
About you
In addition to the above, the successful applicant will have:
- Substantial knowledge of general business and agribusiness banking operations and lending.
- Develop and implement innovative scalable strategies to boost operational efficiencies and ensure sustainable growth.
- Experience in fostering a high-performance culture across teams, promoting a safe and productive, inclusive working environment.
- Proven leadership experience in a banking environment.
- The ability to build and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across varying locations.
- A degree qualification in a business related or Agribusiness related discipline is desirable.
