Maroochy RSL, (ABN 24 413 646 602) is looking for full time Chefs or Cooks for their busy kitchens.Maroochy RSL, located in the heart of Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, is a vibrant and inclusive community hub renowned for its modern Australian cuisine and dynamic dining experiences. The club offers a diverse culinary landscape across its Bistro and Café, emphasizing stylish, affordable dishes crafted from homemade and locally sourced ingredients.
The Bistro, adjacent to the Central Bar, features live music on weekends and nightly specials, while the Café provides casual meals complemented by Maroochydore's finest barista-made coffee.

To be considered you must have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1 year of industry experience.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:- Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
- Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
- Demonstrate a keen Interest in growing food trends and techniques
- Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control
- Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning
- Stock ordering
- Team building and maintaining morale
- Labour cost control and assist the owners with rostering
- A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS and able to explain and enforce
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
- Ability to handle large service numbers
- Experience on pans and pasta section is highly desirable
- Above average customer care and service skills
- Training of junior team members on cooking techniques and procedures
- Assist with staff hiring and training
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team
- Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
