About the Role:Lincraft is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing IT team in Laverton, Melbourne. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital platforms, including our eCommerce website and internal applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in front-end and back-end development, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for Lincraft’s eCommerce platform and internal systems
- Maintain and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability
- Implement React Native for mobile application development
- Utilize Shopify Polaris to create custom Shopify apps and themes
- Perform A/B testing and analyze results to improve customer experiences and conversion rates
- Conduct SEO optimization to enhance site performance and search rankings
- Integrate and analyse data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other data sources to drive insights
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement data analytics strategies
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- At least 5 years of experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, HTML, CSS, and relevant frameworks
- Experience with React Native for mobile application development
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with Shopify Polaris and Shopify app development
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques to optimize website performance
- Experience with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Search Console for data tracking and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or other cloud platforms
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Base salary between $70,000 and $90,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications (excluding superannuation).
