Job description:?????- General carpentry works: construct, erect, install, renovate and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials, and cut, shape and fit timber parts to form structures and fittings.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
- Working collaboratively & cohesively with technicians & project managers to streamline operations.
- Liaise comfortably between internal team members, clients and subcontractors daily in relation to job updates, reporting, scope and instructions.
- Adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements such as OHS legislation and risk management, assessing hazardous components of each project as required.
- Timely completion of administrational duties such as site diaries and compliance requirements
- Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including HVAC cleaning
- Respond to emergency service calls per an on-call rotation schedule
- Ensure documentation is filled out correctly and that records are being maintained
- Report any Incidents, Accidents, Hazards, and Near Misses Adhere to OH&S regulations, organisational policies, procedures and work instructions
- Nominated responsible persons for corrective actions are responsible for ensuring the corrective actions assigned to them are completed by the date recommended
- Participate and complete relevant risk assessments and other OH&S documentation as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and review of work practices and documentation
- Certificate III in Carpentry, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools, strip out walls, ceiling, flooring, fittings.
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Desire to go above & beyond to deliver exceptional customer service
- Prioritise and complete tasks accurately and on-schedule
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent time management skills with attention to detail

- Salary Range: $72,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
