Financial Accountant - Immediate Start

Job Description

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Budgeting, Forecasting
• GL and Balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Manage month end processes
• BAS, FBT obligations
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional duties as necessary.

The Successful Applicant

The Financial Accountant should have/be:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• Experience in a similar role with a SME
• Experience with XERO or similar software ideal
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
