Experience Required
Sous Chef - Minimum 2 years Chef/Kitchen Supervisory level experience +Ched de Partie: Minimum 2 years Commercial Cookery experience + demonstratable kitchen supervisor/chef experience
Cook: Minimum 1-2 years commercial cookery experience
Qualifications
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, for our Chef roles a Diploma level qualification is desirable or suitable on the job training.
The role;Assisting the head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations; Chef, supervision of kitchen operations and staff
Chef, menu design and costing
Chef, budgeting and stock take
Chef, rostering of staff
Preparing and cooking food to a benchmark standard for the restaurant; Ensuring that the meals are prepared, produced, presented and served to the highest possible standards; Working in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations; Ordering stock under the direction of the head Chef; Checking deliveries as per order sheets; In collaboration with the head Chef and other kitchen staff contribute to the planning and development of recommendations for improved work procedures; Handle complaints and customer suggestions in a professional manner; Upholding and maintain correct standards of hygiene and safety; Undertake as required, training which may be deemed necessary; Communicate effectively with the kitchen crew and other members of staff; Any additional duties associated with the kitchen or food production as directed by the Head Chef or management.
Full-time positions will be provided with an Annualised Salary based by your relevant qualifications and experience.
Sous Chef: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00Chef de Partie: $73,000 - $75,000
Cook: $73,000 - $74,000.00
