Gardener - 11 Recruitment

Full-time Gardener position available with competitive salary. Work in a dynamic business in Waterloo 2017.

We seek a skilled and experienced professional to contribute to the seamless operation of our company and support our business expansion.

Current Opening:

This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).

• Conducting routine maintenance activities such as mowing, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing to ensure landscapes remain in excellent condition.
• Choosing, planting, and nurturing a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs to promote their health and growth.
• Analysing and preparing soil to ensure it is suitable for planting and supporting healthy plant growth.
• Overseeing irrigation systems to deliver the appropriate amount of water to plants.
• Detecting and treating plant diseases and pests to sustain plant health.
• Working with clients and team members to plan and implement soft landscape designs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and safely operate gardening equipment and tools. Regularly clean the equipment and report any necessary repairs or maintenance to the supervisor.
• Seasonal Plant Care: Adjusting plant care routines according to seasonal changes to optimize plant health and appearance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate III in Gardening/Landscaping or at least 3 years of work experience.
• A strong understanding of plant care and horticultural practices.
• Proven one year of work experience in gardening or landscaping.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $73,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
